Over time I have stayed in many wonderful places and have enjoyed great company, yet something about camping alone in Mt Kosciuszko captured my imagination. In my last post I shared some photos of the hike but I left out these ones….possibly because I think they deserve their own post!
I set up camp in the early afternoon and after a ramble to refill some water bottles I made a cup of tea and simply took in the view for the evening.
What’s not to like?
Had a bit of a play with the camera as the sun was going down – lots more practice required but it keeps me entertained.
There wasn’t much colour in the sky at sunrise but was did see the sun peak over the hill behind my tent – What a great start to another day in the mountains.
