I cannot put my finger on it, but I didn’t love Litchfield National Park.

Top of Curtain FallsI was really keen to go there, perhaps that’s why. A lot of people choose to go to Kakadu form Darwin but I had been there on previous trips so thought I would try something new and head to Litchfield instead. I had read somewhere that it was “a waterbabies dream day out”.  So thinking I fit the WB criteria and knowing there’s a few kms until I reach the west coast, I was sold.

The plan was some hiking to stretch the legs to try and make a dent on all of Mark’s great cooking in Darwin and swim to wash away the dirt – perfect. It is undoubtably a  beautiful place, maybe it was just the days that were in it or the people I met, but it didn’t rock my boat. Here are some snaps of the few days. Loads of waterfalls and hiking trails but pretty busy with people. Maybe that’s it, finally I had to share!
