The voices in your heads, you know the ones, that convince you not to do something. What if?……but but but what if?…….. I heard them recently.
I had always planned to drive a little while I was here to get around. Yet, the night before I was due to pick up the car I started to hear the “what if’s?” How would I be able to get out of the city? Would I be able to drive on the ‘wrong side’ of the road? The freeways are very busy…… And on it went, even unsolicited from other people I met, “but it’s highway driving – there’s nothing there”
I’m so glad I didn’t listen to them and went with my original plan. Turns out driving on the ‘wrong side’ of the road is not so bad. Look what I would have missed, there’s always something to see and wine to taste!
The bottom line for me, always trust my instinct. Chances are I was right the first time.
