It’s been raining in Sydney on and off all day today so I retreated inside to a job I have been procrastinating about, sorting through some old photographs.
I thought sharing these blue skies could be an antidote to the bulging black clouds I can see threatening to spill any minute. After all, it’s almost impossible to be anything other than happy on a sunny day at the beach and this was no exception. Byron Bay on a Sunday in September, early Spring for us in Australia, it’s good for the soul.
That afternoon I went to Wattegos Beach and mostly lay there drinking in the sun’s goodness while reading a book and cooling off in the water from time to time until the sun went down for the day…..somedays are good when you simply sit still.
