A short post today, because I am…..mmmm….. otherwise occupied with a good book!

I have spent the last two days reading a book but every so often I peered over the top of it to make sure the world was in order. Am in a small town called Pohara, in Golden Bay. Yesterday it mostly rained all day so I started my book and then today I just couldn’t put it down. Such is the way with having no reservations I decided to stay another few days here!  I took these photographs about 20 steps from where I was staying. Been a long time since I fell asleep listening to the ocean and waking up to an empty beach on my doorstep – I like it. Now where is that book………….
