Am thinking this trip is going to be about the people I meet, they are making an impression so far at least. One conversation I had with a somebody who lives in LA went something like this…..
This is not my forever place, it’s where I want to be for now cos it’s young and nobody grows up and gets a real job. Everybody works in creative or movies or modelling or waitressing. Like who actually works in the bank? Seriously, who?
The girl has point, incidentally San Francisco is her forever place, but she’s not ready to move there yet!
Here are some pictures I took when in Venice Beach and Santa Monica the other day. Was quiet there, but still enough going on to get a sense of the place. Would love to see it at full tilt though, could only begin to imagine the human spectacle that would be there.
